15 October 2012 - Today I discovered The Deep Web Step #5  What a wealth of information I have discovered here and all available with a simple /databases behind your search term. I chose to go to Sea World to see what was there and different about the terminology I used to search.  The information I found is much more detail then just using the term Sea World in a regular Google Search.  When you add the / you discover all kinds of useful information and not just ticket info or how to get to the parks.  There is in depth information about the different parts of the world , who lives there, the temperature, the animals and on and on.  Very interesting and a great resource to share with our patrons.

Next I will be checking out part b of # 5 to see what infomine is all about.

The Start of my 23 Things

11 October 2012 - So begins my journey in to the world of blogs,  I am amazed at the number of blogs out there as I clicked around exploring all the different topics. So the opening of this blog completes # 3 on my 23 step journey. Actually I have completed step 4 since I now follow Ann & Aarons blog.   My blog is going to center on creative things that can be done in the library to try to keep the library book and bulletin board displays current, eye catching and to encourage our patrons to try some of our featured items.  From time to time some of the other things I enjoy may find their way here also, so look out for some tidbits on tea, crafting and baking.
